Wild Scottish venison, diced and slow cooked in a sauce with cherries, wild mushrooms, smoked bacon and red wine.

Cooking Instructions:   Slow Cooked Black Forest Venison Casserole Microwave:
based on 800 watt. Pierce film & cook, always ensure product is piping hot before serving -

from frozen: heat for 3 minutes, stir, heat for a further 3 minutes
from defrosted: heat for 2 minutes, stir, heat for a further 1-2 minutes

Oven:
pierce film and place tray onto a baking tray. Cook in preheated oven at 200°C / fan 180°C / gas 6 until piping hot -

from frozen: 30-35 minutes
from defrosted: 20-25 minutes

Stir before serving.

Hob:
defrost in fridge overnight. Remove film and empty contents into a sauce pan.
Heat gently, stirring occasionally, until piping hot.
Stir before serving. Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving.

Serve with traditional accompaniments like mashed potatoes, goose fat roast potatoes or polenta fries.
