With its rich mix of nutty porcini, velvety oyster and buttery smooth shiitake, this delicious blend of woodland mushrooms is full of natural flavour. Fried gently with garlic, rosemary and thyme until soft before sautéed onions, carrots and a dark, malty stout go in to making a supremely rich gravy. Finished with a drizzle of flavour-packed truffle oil, it’s generously filled into a rich, delicate shortcrust pastry and topped with a crisp, flaky puff pastry.
A classic, premium pie that will be enjoyed by vegetarians and meat-lovers alike.
Cooking guidelines from frozen: preheat the oven with a baking tray to 180°C fan / gas 6.
Remove pie from outer packaging but leave the pie within the foil. Place the pie onto the preheated baking tray and place in the centre of the oven and cook for 55-60 minutes.
If the pastry has a rich deep colour before the cooking time is complete, cover loosely with foil and continue to cook until piping hot.
Remove from oven and allow to stand for 3 minutes before serving.
Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving.
Do not reheat once cooked.
