We have slow cooked these pork shanks to perfection. A cut full of rich flavour that melts in the mouth. Paired with sweet Maderia wine that offers delicious gravy.

HOW TO STORE

  1. Storage: Keep frozen at -18°C or below
  2. Defrost: Defrost in refrigerator overnight. Do not re-freeze once defrosted
  3. Shelf life defrosted: Store in refrigerator and use within 24 hours
Cooking Instructions:  

Allow product to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes, whether frozen or defrosted. Remove packaging, emptying full contents into a heatproof dish.

Oven

Preheat to 200°C / Fan 190°C / Gas 6 and heat uncovered for:

From frozen: 45-50 minutes
From defrosted: 25-30 minutes

Microwave

Based on 850W. Loosely cover and heat for:

From frozen: 15-16 minutes
From defrosted: 9-10 minutes

Stir/baste halfway through cooking time (either method), keeping pieces separate.

Before serving, ensure meat is piping hot throughout and stir sauce.

For best results, we recommend heating in the oven from frozen.

Do not reheat.
