Made to a traditional Scottish recipe, our Smoked Haddock Chowder, often known as Cullen Skink here in Aberdeenshire, is rich and packed with beautiful smoked haddock flakes and flavours. A hearty, warming soup best served with crusty bread and butter.

HOW TO STORE

  1. Storage: Keep frozen at -18°C or below
  2. Defrost: Defrost in refrigerator overnight. Do not re-freeze once defrosted
  3. Shelf life defrosted: Store in refrigerator and use within 24 hours
Cooking Instructions:  

Microwave (based on 800 watt)

Pierce the film and cook:

From Defrosted: 3-4 minutes
From Frozen: 6-8 minutes

Decrease the cooking time for ovens with a higher wattage. Stir before serving.

On the hob

Defrost in fridge overnight. Remove film and empty the contents of the tray into a saucepan.

Heat gently without allowing to boil, stirring occasionally, until piping hot.
